Kelowna Rockets open four-game preseason schedule tonight in Kamloops

The Kelowna Rockets will play four preseason games ahead of the 2026-27 Western Hockey League season, including two at Prospera Place.

Kelowna opens exhibition play Friday in Kamloops against the Blazers before hosting Kamloops the following night.

The Rockets will then face the Penticton Vees twice, travelling to the South Okanagan Events Centre on Sept. 9 before hosting the Vees on Sept. 12.

The preseason schedule:

Sept. 4: at Kamloops, 7 p.m.

Sept. 5: vs. Kamloops, Prospera Place, 6:05 p.m.

Sept. 9: at Penticton, 6:35 p.m.

Sept. 12: vs. Penticton, Prospera Place, 6:05 p.m.

Kelowna begins its regular-season schedule Sept. 19 on the road against the Vancouver Giants.

The Rockets then visit Penticton for the Vees’ home opener Sept. 25 before hosting Penticton the following night for Kelowna’s home opener and the first Battle of the Okanagan of the season.
