Vees sweep Clippers to win BCHL title

The Penticton Vees defeated the Nanaimo Clippers 8-2 in Game 4 of the Fred Page Cup Finals to sweep the championship series and earning the franchise’s 13th title.
The Vees lost their first playoff game to the Trail Smoke Eaters in Round 1, and then reeled off 16 straight wins to capture the title.
Bradly Nadeau led the way in the deciding game with a hat trick and an assist for a four-point night, while his brother Josh had three points on a goal and two assists.
